I have nothing against the make but on an alfa it will kill the maf sensor!
That's a loada bollicks man. I have a K&N panel filter in my Alfa which is 8 years old and I have put 8k miles on the car with the oiled panel filter on it. My father has a 147 2l with a K&N oil panel filter that has done over 70kmiles with it on and we have cleaned it and the MAF is still going strong with nearl 100k miles on the clock
