You shoul realise that having a remap can be detected and will be detected if there is a major engine fault - that requires major warranty work.

I know this from an Alfa inside source - so as long as the car is going to the dealer for service and minor repair then it won't be detected. Blow your engine and it needs to be replaced under warranty - they will be checking the ECU.
