The pre.cat is the difficult part. You have to remove it from the car, then open it from one side (don't cut the whole thing, just on one side make a square cut to open it)....like a brain surgery, then get rid of the catalytic converter inside and then welded it back again...

Basically you are using your pre.cat..but you are just removing the catalytic converter inside it.
