Yes, thats exactly what Red Dot will do as well, but instead of flashing it with a pre-written map they will write one for you based on the pre-rolling road performance of your car. I think they like to keep the power line as smooth as possible, and the torque curve as high and flat as possible for a better all round driver, but if you want something else (ultimate peak power at expense of lower down torque, mapping for higher octante fuel) they can do that for you as well.

Most mobile remappers don't tend to work on cars that can't be mapped through the diagnostics port.
