I belive you will need a subframe from a 2.4JTD to enable it to fit and use all electrics ecu etc from the fiat. I think the electrics will prove to be the most difficult part of the job but maybee not if the fiat has a completly seperate engine loom as some cars do. I will be interested to see how you get on.
I think i have a new job many miles from home so i either need to start driving the missis 1.0 corsa or put a diesel (oh no!) in the alfa but the fiat turbo route seems more apealing and still probably better on fuel than the 2.0 twin **** that in there.
