Make sure you give them a good bedding in before really really testing them.
e.g. 30-40 stops at gradually increasing strong braking with some short cooling in between.
By the end of the bedding-in you should be applying what would be regarded as VERY strong braking for road use.
Leaving the car in neutral while braking will help them come up to temperature without needing to brake from very high speeds.
You will really feel how much harder the brakes have to work when you do this.
I did this bedding-in my first time with DS2500's a little half heartedly, but the next day when they really reached full temperature on track I discovered they weren't really bedded in at all
