LOL.

No your not going mad, i have always been in to my dubs until i drove the 147 GTA,
i had a 2 year old mk1 GTI 1600 x reg, then i bought a factory zendor kitted mk1 campaign, and dropped a late mk2 16 valve in 185bhp,i also had a corrado vr6 and a 3 yr old vr6 highline in mulberry and bolted
a z engineering s/c to the engine , with schrick inlet manifold 260 bhp, i have a r/r graph from stealth showing bhp and torque comparison between GTA and my vr6,

I think the GTA is a fantastic bit of kit and i miss mine solely .

I know the vr6 is modded but believe me the GTA was quicker of the line IMO, but once the vr6 got traction it flew, weight vr6 1180kg
GTA i think is 1370kg correct me if i'm wrong,
but the GTA felt faster in some areas and it could pull from such low revs, the vr6 pulled well from 3000rpm, but again i'm not in to my vdubs now after owning the GTA and i dont think there would be much in it any way between the two cars.
in normal driving conditions the ''GTA IS MUCH BETTER'', and the low down pull seamed quite abit better in the GTA.

Attila.
