No STMO you are far from dim...this is the rubber button for the 166 non flip red key.I got one ,as the original had started to disintegrate into a gooo.Some must have got into the inner workings of the small tactile switch which this button operates on and is making it tight to move.Using more pressure to operate the button is what caused the button to dislodge itself from the printed circuit board.As is came off cleanly and the switch after 8 years of use is done I would have like to source a new one....As I had no success and it is needed to set the alarm and open doors auto rather than the key in the lock I put the old switch back on. Worked ok but very difficult to operate and so until I can get a new switch I have removed the button and operate the switch directly with my nail.Just need to keep all the dirt out until I get a new switch which should solve all the problems.I should have replaced the button sooner before it turned to gooo on the inside.
