Re: FSE Power Boost Valves

I fitted one of these to my 164 24v 'Leaf when i had her and would say not a noticable difference in power but it did smooth the throttle response through out the rev range. I even replaced the old unit for a day to feel the difference and there was, so they work to an extent!

I know all the arguements but higher fuel pressure in the line will put stress on things but its not huge and only boosts fueling on open throttle via the vacum. The more pressure the less chance of fuel starvation of any form, therein smoother fueling. It returns to standard fueling level on idle and part/steady throttle.

People say there is a risk of running rich, lumpy or cylinder bore wash but i never notice any problems and any tuning will have an adverse effect to some components!

I was quite happy with my FSE and would put one on again.
