Hi all I have a 2.4JTD (2001) my 6th Alfa!! Had it since January, it has full service history 113K but on a couple of previous occassions the engine control system light has come on for a few seconds while accelerating around 3000 rpm and a loss of power. It has got a bit worse since I jet washed the car Anyone any ideas?

The battery seems fine I've checked its out put and charging on a meter. Anyone know what the factory fit make was?
