Hi Shinycar, yep good mod, I’m impressed. I took one of the indicators out a few weeks later to check the condition of the paint on the bulb and it was perfect, I was half expecting 'burnt amber'. It's an acrylic paint so maybe it's able to withstand heat better than a solvent based paint, it looks like Tamiya clear orange paint is the way to go if you struggle to find a suitable amber bulb.

I've attached pics of the painted amber bulb and a front view of my GT.

I think if I were to do this mod again I would paint the inside of the indicator housing silver as the aluminium reflector isn't really visible unless you crouch down. This means that all you can see is black plastic through the clear lens, silver would look better.
