how are your globes holding up Carter? good mod, eh? post some pics if you can - would be great to see the results on a red GT.
i too had trouble finding the orange-tinted globes, and ended up buying from ebay-UK (i live in australia). this was quicker and easier than continuing searching around local stores.
the globes certainly heat up. hence the smoke i had from the experimental silver paint burning off!
