As the Gt and 156 share the same floor pan, will a 156 v6 exhaust cat back fit a 3.2gt?

Cheers

No it won't fit, amongst other things it would foul on the rear bumper and the tailpipes would be in the wrong place, and also too small. I think the flange bolthole PCD is different on the mid section too, from memory 2x80mm vs 2x90mm.

No worries mate. They are very similar. GT box is about an inch and a half shorter due to less clearance. You could probably get a GT 3.2 system to fit a 156 GTA, tailpipes would look a bit big and you'd probably need to bend hangers etc but I reckon it could be done.

I fitted a standard GT JTS centre & rear on my old 156 V6 years ago and the tailpipes were hard up against the rear bumper, which I had to cut to get it to fit. So it can be done, but only GT stuff on a 156 and not vice versa.
