Since I am a little wiser than when I wrote the above:
Fitting DS2500 pads on the OEM 305mm discs will make them stand more abuse than with the OEM pads, but they will not stand enough = the discs will warp if you really push it.
DS2500 + aftermarket 305 discs = unknown to me too, but I would really like to know...
