Very good of you to post it up, and it could have been helpful. My gripe is with the listing itself, not with your having posted it of course.
As you say, the postcode element of your premium loading is clearly down to the craime stats in that area and how likely the car is to be stolen or damaged, totally apart from the driving habits of the owner. Unfortunately it seems to list Crewe town centre as an 'A', which is laughable.
Dave: I think it's a reasonable low-tech, low-cost way of assessing risk. Is your car less likely to be stolen or vandalised if you live in the back-end of nowhere that no-one can find, or if it's parked on an inner-city street in an area with high crime rates? I think so.
