I've become worried that I'm addicted to the light of the monitor... like a leaf striving for sunlight.

I tend to spend around 10 hours a day at work staring at a computer screen... then, for reasons I can't fathom, I get home say hello to the wife and flick on the laptop while she watches crappy reality shows - for another four hours.

Most of the time I'll wake up in the morning, reach over to the laptop and open it up to read my emails... even though I know I can do it at work in an hour's time.

The worst thing is the feeling of exhaustion in my eyes... but I just can't help look at the screen.

I wouldn't mind if it was a porn addiction. But a screen addiction? The shame...
