Thanks Ghostydog. We have a server thats giving us a lot of stability issues due to fragmentation. As you said its a critical issue for servers where so many files get created and deleted everyday. I think even for workstations and home PCs which are used pretty substantially this problem persists. If the drives get too cluttered, the system takes ages to respond to tasks, like a nervous system disease.
