Re: Rear Seat Belts

I have not got any pictures but I can tell you the following: -

I recently put rear belts in my 3 dr Hatchback Sud which I purchased from a a guy who was breaking his 3 door Sud. These had been fitted to his Sud from new.

If you lift the rear seat there should be 6 plastic plugs which need to be pulled out. They have a screwdriver slot in them, but they won't screw out. You will need to pull them out. A trim removal tool or a self tapper screwed in and levered out should do the trick.
The top mounts have plugs which can be removed from the inside of the C pillar.
The actual reels on mine mount onto the top of the rear shock absorber mount and the reels are hidden by the trim. You will need to cut slots into the trim at the side for the webbing to run through.
However, the seatbelts on a 33 may be different.
If you are struggling I will take photos and e mail them to you.

Dave
