Hiya people, im Photis
im from Cyprus and im a big fan of Alfa Romeo and everything Italian in general. After 3 unsuccesful years in the Manchester Uni ive decided to come back to Cy to continue with my studies.. I ve also decided to buy a car, as for 3 years i was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Vauxhall Astra G both my mums. Anyway, i was always fancing a 156 and the time has come to make a choice. I really like the 156 and i think its one of the most beautiful cars ever been on production [1st one is the Alfa Romeo GT
].. on the other hand im not so sure if its such as reliable as German cars or even the Japanese ones. Im too complicated to be honest, but deep inside im going for the 156. It was the car i wished i had someday when i was younger and now i have the option to own it. Im not gonna ask for reliability matters, as eveything is quite complexed although i would be happy if you could just point out some major problems and moreover i just wanna know what to take into account when choosing a 156. [miles, any special 'treatment', common problems -oil for example- some problems found on different editions] and stuff like that.
