I just saw there is an entry on the Paul Denyer web site for "Manual to City changeover uncommanded" which is the selespeed problem I have encountered on my GT. It's happened about 4 times since I got it 3 months ago and I've only done 1500 miles. It's nearly 3 years old. This never happened on my 147 Selespeed whch I had for 5 years before the GT.

Unfortunately I don't understand the details on the web page. Is this something that is considered normal or OK? What causes it ? Does the car need any adjustment to prevent this happening or is it something you just have to live with and reboot the car when it happens because you can't get it back out of City mode in my experience (or into N or R)?

Any help would be appreciated as the garage don't know what to do with it and they've had it twice now for investigations!!
