So if i understand this correct, then this stuff works well under high temps (ie does not become too thin) but is not overly thick when cold? It's not like the 6 speed gerbox is among the smoothest one out there, so i'd prefer not to add to that problem.
Yes, that is the purpose of this oil. (personally I think the 6 gearbox is the best gearbox Alfa has ever made; not quite as good as a BMW 6 gearbox, but pretty good anyhow!). Robert has it in my "ex" I think he can attest to it.
Gear change is getting at normal level after about 2 miles, before that a little bit heavier but not like a ZF gearbox from the Alfa Sei or the first series Maserati bi-turbo
