Not sure about lowering your car - I do a lot of cycling and you don't just change the springs in your suspension without playing with the damper settings too. Assuming the stock dampers on the 147 are non-adjustable, it could unexpectedly monkey about with the handling with lower, harder springs so be careful you know what's going to happen (I may be wrong here, it might be fine to just change the springs without changing the damping but you wouldn't do it on a bike).
I've got a mate who owns a spring factory - could get a new set of custom springs for almost free but it's the unexpectedness of what will happen with the damping. He worked wonders on my bike but the dampers have separate compression/ rebound/ blow-off controls and the car hasn't.
