Ive just had a very interesting meeting with Gordon, he is the guy who owns street racers in leicester who did the dyno run for 24v.

Now 24v had told me that the dyno guy said the car was appalling, the worst he had done.

Now it seems that gordon had actually said that this was an amazing (yes he used the word amazing) condition car running perfectly on the dyno and with bags of power.

He found the car to be perfect.

This of course can be verified by anyone on this forum by simply contacting gordon direct at streetracers.

Anyway, ive also been thinking about the posts made by 24v himself.

He has mentioned the following and i am quoting him word for word !!!

"the car itself as been great since i picked it up in the begining of january in every way."

"After the remap it felt ok at first touching the throttle but as the revs build up it seems to run out of breath now."

"I didn't ever doubt the map, but I wanted the car engine right before I had the remap"

Now you admitted that the car has been fine since you owned it and this included right upto the point of the dyno run which was AFTER we mapped it.

Then you quoted about the car being better after the map but then seemed to run out of puff, this was due to the remap requiring a better spark, the only method of getting power from a non turbo petrol and with dying plugs it was only ever going to go downhill.

You then stated you didnt doubt the map, thats because it works well and the difference on your car with an without the map is slightly over 20hp proving the map gives power.

I dont wish to continue this argument on the forum but i fealt as you had dragged the other dyno company into this argument it would only be fair for the readers of this post to know what they actually did say regarding your car.
